Nippon Express are one of the world’s leading logistics companies. Paul Feely & Associates were delighted to partner with them as appointed Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS) on the upgrade of their Dublin warehouse. The highly specialised warehouse upgrade involved a clean room installation equipped with environmental requirements (temperature / humidity / dust control / electrostatic management) necessary for handling semiconductors and electronic components, for their client – a global tech company. Additionally, the facility is equipped to handle the storage and transportation of pharmaceuticals.

Throughout this prestigious project Paul managed and co-ordinated all health and safety aspects during the entire construction phase of the upgrade including:

      • Preparation of the Construction Stage Safety & Health Plan

      • Regular stakeholder communication to ensure everyone was clear on the objectives

      • Identified and mitigated risks by ensuring suitable and sufficient risk assessments, method statements and safe systems were in place

      • Ensured safe work practices on site through regular engagement and health and safety inspections specific to the project risks

      • Statutory forms were provided for weekly inspection

      • Ensured contractors were communicating and cooperating on site
