What is PSCS?

The Project Supervisor Construction Stage is appointed by the client before construction work begins and remains in position until all construction work on the project is completed. Their role is to manage and co-ordinate health and safety matters during the construction stage.

How do we do it?

  • preparation of the Construction Stage Health & Safety Plan by going out to site and reviewing the surroundings, we don’t do this from Google.
  • Communicate with the relevant stakeholders to ensure everyone is clear on the objectives and what success looks like for your project.
  • Bring a can do, practical, solutions-based approach to the project. The project needs built, and we are part of making this happen safely.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the project by ensuring suitable and sufficient risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work are in place.
  • Ensure safe work practices on site by way of regular engagement and health and safety inspections specific to the project risks.
  • Statutory forms provided for weekly inspection and thorough examination.
  • Ensure contractors are communicating and cooperating on site.
  • Carryout incident or accident investigations if required.
